UnitedHealth is a massive, vertically integrated healthcare system in the United States.
UnitedHealth was trading at over $600 per share in 2024, and has since had a massive drawdown of more than 50% to around $250 per share. It’s since recovered some and has been floating around $300 per share.

What happened?
Basically a lot of bad news at once.
April 17 – Disappointing quarterly earnings
May 13 – CEO steps down and 2025 outlook suspended
May 14 – Criminal investigation announced
